Stephen J Aguilar

That's my name and yes, it's pronounced like Steven :) I am a student in the Fire Science program at Mesa Community College. Currently, I am enrolled in 12 credit hours including CRE 101 and other required Fire classes. This is one of the last projects I'm submitting as an MCC student because after this semester I will hold an AAS in Fire Science with a certification in Emergency Management. OH YEA!!! I also am a full-time Personal Banker at a local Credit Union. I enjoy the clientele and all my coworkers whom are also friends. I am the youngest of four. It is my ultimate goal to become a successful Emergency Manager working in a Federal agency. Hopefully my credentials will get me there if this economy ever lets up! That’s all for now…

Not really my story, but still a powerful one...

I don't have a personal story. But, I remember back to my grade school teacher. She is a teacher, has her own home and vehicle. She is also a single mother of 4. While in high school she was pregnant. She still pushed for her studies and kept her focus. She cared for her child with the help of some family, but never asked for it. Later on in college she adopted her 3 nieces as her father was in prison. She did the same for those three children. She later finished her degree and is living a comforable life within her own means.
